How Points Are Earned: 10 points will be awarded for show up/first round and 10 points will be awarded for every round you show up to after first round. Buy-Backs will receive zero points for every round won starting in the 2nd round and will be racing only for the money/trophy at that point. The winner of each class will receive 2 additional bonus points and the runner-up will receive 1 additional bonus point.
NOTE: If your car Breaks before round 1 and cannot run, you will have a choice to keep your (10) show up points or receive a rain check for the next day of racing.
You must drop your two lowest point gross days during the season to reach your final point total calculated for the Championship. Please note that you may not drop the final race weekend of the year, August 19-20, 2017.
How Does Dial for Dollars Work: On Saturday, you will have the option to participate in the Dial for Dollars competition during Time Trial #2. The entry fee is $25 (payable in Race Control) and will be contested separately in each category. We will payback 75% of all Dial for Dollars entry fees as follows: 1st = 50%, 2nd = 25%. The two drivers who run closest to their posted Dial-In will be awarded 1st and 2nd place prize money, respectively. Should a tie occur, the tie breaker will be determined by reaction time.
